Dear Rick,
Yeah. But sometimes we are awakened when something extraordinary happens--a
powerful k energy surge for instance--or a state of samadhi. It doesn't have
to be alarming. But anything out of the ordinary will probably cause us to go
into self-protection mode (or curiosity mode! ) and force us to wake.

I don't understand.
Well, It seems to me when we are in the NOW state, past, future doesn't
exist. It's only when we come down from these states that we think of the future
and our minds try to make sense and make "use" out of the experiences.

Perhaps just to let us know we are experiencing something quite
extraordinary. I find it interesting that many people who have clairvoyant experiences are
frustrated in not being able to influence what they have seen. Sort of a
Cassandra syndrome. Maybe they aren't meant to influence things--only being
important as they relate to our own experience.
Rick:
And
why do these states of NOW appear to be so special just because i've already
dreamed them. Could there be a connection to the Self in that NOWness, like
a doorway to the Self, a doorway of many, or perhaps there is merely a
fragrance of the Self in that glimpse and that's the scent i'm tuning into.
Hillary:
Makes sense, if I understand you correctly. :)) It is the realization that
we are connected to something beyond self but part of self.

I'd guess that we can't help but progress. Sometimes we hit plateaus,
though, like in any learning experience. I suspect these interim periods are
important
>I'm a little surprised that no one else has experienced this, or have you?
If you mean clairvoyant experiences, than I haven't, no--but a number of list
members past and present have.
Love, Hillary
