I don't think that "white" light is a good idea
either, just from my experience becuase it is a "hard"
defense. "Living Flame" is one of my pesonal favorites
(smile) because it is a moving and flowing energy as
part of the whole.
What stunned me wasn't that someone was questioning
using protection. There were a couple of responses
that really amazed me. My personal (anti) favorite:
One that stated that they couldn't explain why I was
possessed at the age of 5. Hey, I don't make up this
stuff - someone really thought they read that in my
posting! (about seeing the cat spirit)
Someone needs new glasses - and it "ain't" me! Well, I
hope it wasn't me...may be I need to check what I
wrote...hmmmm
Someone was offended by the information I provided
regarding the woman that picked up the terrible
dis-ease.
I didn't think I needed to tell the whole story. She
accepted and received a complete healing. The healing
was a result of releasing that which did not belong to
her. She didn't have to have surgery, and is doing
fine.
Probably the omission of the end result caused
confusion. In reflection I can see why one would jump
to other conclusions in that I introduced the story,
but I did not provide the ending. I just thought I
would enter the concept as I wasn't talking about
"healing", I was talking about creating spiritual
boundaries. (Ok, my thinking was short-sited. I will
remember that lesson. "Finish the story"...)
I live for discussions and negotiations, I have spent
many a long night doing just that until we were all
too hoarse to talk any more!
People can challenge me all they wish - get a number
and wait! (smile)
Being involved in metaphysics most of my life, as well
as Orthodox disciplines, I've become accustomed to
ruffling feathers. In this case I was beginning to
think I was being stalked by rabid turkeys! ;-)
My response is to say "judge by the fruits." What I
think or believe may or may not be appropriate for
another, but if it works for me. If my methods harm no
one...what the heck... as long as I don't try to pound
it into a "resistant" someone's head.
Somehow the "protection" discussion seemed to be
turning into that type of "think my way or suffer the
consequences." It brought back bad memories of the
Inquisitions...just kidding!
I asked if people would just lighten up and let it
drop. I was getting feel like a spiritual Kung Fo
Mama!
