My guess would be it was the anja or sahasrara chakra, both because you lost
consciousness and because you noted that it was "the last" chakra you
encountered.
Colors seem to vary quite a lot, and may be pretty subjective. (see
http://www.kundalini-gateway.org/polls/po_chakra.html )
Certainly the dazzling nature of the brilliant yellow seems to me to relate
to a higher state of consciousness.

It's in Portuguese, but it does show a brilliant yellow in the Anja (3rd eye)
chakra.
It would have been fun to know the colors of the other chakras you visited.

Fascinating about the men in robes. :)) Occasionally I will dream about a
religious figure, usually a Tibetan Monk. These seem to be somewhat
archetypal.
