Subject: [K-list] My experience of Kundalini Rising

The reason I joined the K-List is that I wanted an
avenue to share my Kundalini rising experiences which
occurred over 20 years ago. The diary I kept locked up
since then has gone unseen, due to the fear that any
person unexposed to the Kundalini experience would
probably think me mad.
After this series of events, my life descended into a
black pool of misery in many ways. Someone suggested
to me that they thought my problems were all brought
on by my metaphysical studies. In desperation I threw
all my metaphysical books, with the exception of my
IChing book into the fire. I had mailed this diary to
a friend for safe-keeping, so it did not end up in
ashes.
Once I came back to my senses, which took about 10
years, I started reading more about the Kundalini
rising. Apparently part of this experience is to burn
off old karma, so I would say that the realization of
this experience isn't't for the faint of heart (on
many levels).
Some of the visitations I mention here I thought to be
only of myth.
On October 10, 1978 I stated in a prayer that I
accepted my path and goal in this life. I stated that
I no longer desired to try to push the river, but to
flow along with it in a natural way. I stated that my
greatest desire was to fulfill my destiny.
My goal in releasing this prayer was to find my path
in life, I had no idea that I would release something
of this magnitude.
When I went to bed after my prayer, I had an out of
the body experience, during which I saw the most
beautiful Appaloosa horse. I recall that when I laid
eyes on that horse I thought how magnificent it would
be to ride such a remarkable beautiful animal. I
thought that the rider looked like a Cossack. The
rider approached me telling me that he had been sent
to present me with a gift. He told me to get a jar
with a lid, and that the jar must be totally pure. He
also told me that no one else was to touch it. I came
back with what looked like a Mason jar. He handed me a
worm. It was the strongest worm imaginable, I could
hardly contain it between my thumb and first finger.
He told me to keep this worm in the jar, when I
desired its help, I was to sprinkle a little water on
the worm. When water was sprinkled on the worm it
became a huge powerful Dragon. The Cossack told me
that the Dragon would do my bidding. Though it seems
that I should have been terrified at the sight of this
Dragon, I felt very honored with this gift.
The Dragon was awe-inspiring. It touched my heart and
sent an electrifying energy through my entire being. I
told the Cossack that I would like a picture of him to
put it into the jar with the Dragon. He was obviously
alarmed at this request, and adamantly told me he was
only the messenger delivering the gift. He instructed
me that I should put nothing into the jar with the
Dragon, that the jar must remain pure.
>From that time on I experienced a very intense energy
within and about me, which has progressively
increased. In fact I have had people hug me, or hold
my hand and remark at the electrical energy. There are
times when people can "hear" the electrical energy
around me.
The next night there was an energy around me. It felt
as if I was receiving a reflexology treatment. There
were streams of spiritual fire that started around my
feet, went up my legs, body, trunk, back, head, face,
and down my front. This continued for about 6 weeks.
I will continue this tomorrow. There is much more,
which is too long to be entered into this list all at
once.
I would enjoy seeing interpetations of the various
experiences, and reading about others who have had
similar experiences.
