I'm very happy for your interest in ancient mediterranean culture because
this is my full-time job, indipendent from my yoga practise and k awakening.
I made long excavations and researches in an archaeological site, in north
italy, called "Industria", where there are the ruins of an important
Isis-temple and a bronze factory where were employed slaves bought in Greece
and in Asia. The bronze statuettes from the roman town "industria" are well
known between archaeologists. I read Plutarchus' Isis and Osiris, an extract
from full text Moralia, and I found a lot of very very interesting
informations on religious thought in roman imperial times.
I send you the text of a conference I hold a couple of years ago, long
before my K awakening. I'm sorry because the full text with the pictures is
too heavy for e-mail sending. This conference is unpublished, until now; but
I have to collect a book about the excavations and I hope to open with a
text called "What does Industria mean?"
In latin, industria means "with intelligence" and it is the same thing of
indian "buddhi"!
I hope the reading will not be too difficult and boring for you
