[Bhavin Desai] A Mudra is a symbolic gesture or action that gives
physical expression to an Inner State. The classical Yoga literature
shows hundreds (!!!) of Mudras. The Mudra names are determined by the
Inner State, and hence some Mudras have multiple names, or the same name
is given to multiple Mudras. Mudras are usually on the hands, but can
also involve the whole body (see

examples that manifest spontaneously/automatically/naturally for me).
