Hi Ken;
Just nit-picking but symbols are not necessarily archetypes but archetypes
are made into symbols.
I saw an 8000 year old rock painting of Auroboros [the serpent eating its
tail] There was a half circle
with the other half askew [the circle has been broken] accompanying it.
These are true archetypes IMHO
