Hello,
Judith's pram story has prompted me to share a little and ask a question.
I recently have seen ghosts of two people and a cat.
The 1st time this happened I was resting on a bench outside Safeway across
from an elderly lady
with her back to me waiting for a cab. In front of her and facing me was an
elderly man talking to
her. I about had a heart attack when the cab pulled up right where the man
was standing! I did not
see him get hit because I covered my eyes so I wouldn't see it. I must have
been the only person
who saw it. When I peeked through my fingers all was normal. The lady was
helped into the cab by
the driver and they drove away. The man was nowhere to be seen! I know what
I saw! But it could not have happened. This was back in December.
The second time I was in my living room sitting in the sun by the window
enjoying the warmth. From
the corner of my eye I saw a woman with a cat in her lap also enjoying the
sun. I slowly turned my
head to look directly at them and they did not disappear right away. Her
lips were moving as if she
were speaking to either me or the cat but I did not hear anything. After a
short time she just wasn't
there any more.
This last time I saw only the cat sunning itself on the windowsill. I was
outside raking my garden,
the cat was inside on the sill.
I asked around about if there was ever a woman who had lived in my cabin
before and there has not
I am told the cabin was built by a man and it was passed to his son who in
turn sold it to me. They used it as a getaway. Maybe she and her cat visited
and liked it here. That is understandable, it is very quiet and peaceful
here.
It is difficult for me to take myself too seriously these days and I have
found nothing, yet, that what I
have seen has any correlation to my condition, but I had not experienced
this kind of thing before my
memory started to fade.
I wonder if the changes in my brain have in some way made these things
easier to see, maybe they
have always been there but my mind was too cluttered to be aware of them.
When I saw the older man run through by the cab there were at least a dozen
people around who
obviously did not see him. I was alone when I saw the woman and the cat. I
doubt that this is the
kind of thing I should share with too many people because I am striving to
remain independent as
long as possible but I did share it with a long time friend who suggested I
should try to communicate
with these apparitions, but I am content that they, the cat and woman, seem
content to just hang out and share the woods with me. I wouldn't want to
chase them away for no reason.
Is there a reason for not letting them stick around? Is it selfish to not
help them move on? People are
always talking about helping them to the light, that they are stuck and that
kind of thing. Is that
always the case? I wonder because if given a choice I too may decide I want
to stay right here
basking in the sun watching the flowers grow too.
