I'm still very new to this, and with regard to Hillary's comment below, am interested to know where I would find western teachings on kundalini? Any information would be much appreciated

The energy is, of course universal. We see mentions of various
interpretations of it from the n/um of the people of the Kalahari to the Christian Holy
Spirit. :)) I've been fascinated for years by the various ways the energy is
perceived and the many ways it can be triggered.
