Well, some of us are more attuned to our bodies than others. :)) Sometimes those undergoing K forget to eat or drink, so it's probably best to make sure we have at least the bare minimum of food and water.

I think this is really a critical point. If you want to regain confidence in yourselve you have to go to the bottom. Thinking that we are not eating enough, or correclty or that we need to drink more water are only insecurities created by our society. All this knowledge is build-in and just waiting for the moment that we let it develop. If not you´ll always be enslaved by self-imposed obligations.
These are little thing compared with others. For example, lonliness. It creates a lot of fear in lot of people. Personally I have been half my life grasping to all kind of people triyng to avoid it. At the end I understood it was necesary a period of lonliness to clean and recover myself. At the start you have a lot of fear, that lonliness is going to get you crazy. But as time goes by you understand little by little how important is it. And as all the rotten relations fade away you even breath more calm and wide. And at a ceratin point lonliness transforms in solitude. When you understand that lonliness was created by your disharmonie with the world and not because the lack of people around you.
But if in this situation you don´t go to the bottom and cross this desert of lonliness you are never going to be free. If you surround yourselve with people you dislike, just because it is the correct thing to do. Or full your days like they were cushions of your sofa. I mean if you don´t stop following rules and start doing what you sense is the right thing to do.
Of course this not done in two days and there is a lot of moments when you go back to old habits. But I think the goal should be that, of regaining aboslute freedom and self-confidence. And that should be when there are no more rules in our behaviour. When we just are, and nothing else.
I hope this all make sense. :).
