   I agree you need a lot of water but ... that much?.

   I have look through internet and have found 1 ounce = 28.35 grams

        4 ounces = ( more or les ) 100 grams 40 ounces = 1000 grams = 1 Kg = 1
litre of water

      So you would need about 2 litres of water? ( for about 80 ounces).

    2 litres of water ar more or less ... 8 (eight) glasses.

asking for water. Do not wait until you feel thirsty to drink because
water needs are more acute then than at the first sign of hunger.


      That is exactly the point I was arguing. What I have left is all these
reasonins. I just drink the same a cat or dog would. They go near water and
drink. That´s all. I don´t wait to be thirsty or not, I just drink when I
drink. I let my body take car of the water balance, in other words.

       I think this kind of reasoning take people the opposite way. Instead
trusting their body sensations they just follow the 8 x 8 rule ( 8 glass of
8 ounces). So they disconnect from theyr body. And when it needs more water
than 8 glass they don´t drink it and when it need less they make the stomach
suffer with the excess.

       For example in Spain, Madrid at winter it s very cold and you don´t
drink too much water, but at summer is very hot and you are all the time
drinking something.

       If you can´t trust in you body to maintain a good balance of water,
then I can´t understand how we have evolutioned if we have been deshidrated
some millions of years. :)).
         I have found an article that can be applied to this. It is from a doctor
who maintains that the body can perfectly maintain de water balance. And
that excess of water is as dangerous as a lack of it.

         What could be a real problem is if because any experience or
whatever you disconnect a little from your body. So, you don´t recognice
well when you need or don´t need water. So you can get deshidrated from time
to time. But then, the solution is not to force yourselve to drink more
water, but to recover that dialogue betweeen mind& body. That´s what I think
I´m experiencing.
AS my min&body relation gets better all the system works better, an
specifically the water balance.

          So, now in summer. I´m getting used to drink about three litres a
day when I´m at home not doing too much ( at work 1 litre or two an hour).
What has change? That now I listen to my body.
