There are the five types of the knowledge which are attained by Jaina
achraya or sadhus or monks,
in some texts they are called *kevali*, means like god.
I think any one on spiritual path must attain these
knowledges he may belong to any religion, sect or cult. Although
these are according to Jaina treatise, but it is immaterial whether you
belong to any religion I think a person on spiritual path of any religion
must gain these knowledges during the natural course of time. According to
siddha mat there are the
eight siddhis that are to be attained by the yogi during practice of the
kundalini tantra.

Eight major siddhis:
an accomplished, purnayogi in the path of kundalini yoga is in possession of
eight major siddhis.
1. Anima: yogi becomes as minute as he wishes
2.mahima: he can become as big as he likes. He can make his body assume a
very
large size.
3. Laghima: His can make his body as light as cotton or feather. The yogi
travels in the sky with the help of this siddhi; he can travel thousands of
miles in a minute.
4. Garima: this is opposite of laghima, yogi can make his body as heavy as
mountain.
5. Prapti: the yogi standing on earth can touch the highest things. He can
touch the sun or the moon or sky. Though this siddhi yogi attains his
desired
objects and supernatural powers. He acquires the power of predicting future
events; the power of clairvoyance, clairaudience, telepathy, thought
reading, etc.he can understand the languages of the beast and birds. He can
understand the unknown languages also. He can cure all the diseases.
6. Prakamya: he can dive into the water and can come out any time he likes.
The
late trilinga swami of Benares used to live for 6 months underneath the
Ganges. It is the process by which yogi makes himself invisible sometimes.
by some writers it is defined to be power of entering body of
another(parakaya pravesh).sri shankra entered the body of Raja of Benares.it
is also the power of keeping youth like appearance for any length of
time. Raja Yayati had this power.
7. Vashitvam: this is the power of the taming wild animals and bringing them
under control. It is the power of mesmerizing the persons by the exercise of
will and of making them obedient to one's own wishes and orders. It is the
restraint of passions and emotions. It is the power to bring men, women and
elements under subjection.
8. Ishitvam: it is attainment of divine power. The yogi becomes lord of the
universe. The yogi who has this power can restore the life to the
dead.Kabir, tulsidas, akalkot swami and others had this power of bringing
back life to the dead.
