Subject: [K-list] Kundalini or Imagination

Is there a sure way of knowing if you are K awakened. One can look at a load
of symptoms and choose a handful that apply to them but they might not
necessarily mean K is active. Is there a person one can go to perhaps to get
verification?
On another and similar point:
I had a client yesterday who came to me for treatment of rheumatoid
arthritis. For the whole session she lost control of her bodily movements as
she snaked all over the couch. She was not at all unhappy with the
experience. Mystified perhaps. I didn't even need to concentrate on anything.
As soon as I put my hands anywhere near her she would start to wriggle. In
fact after a while I could take my hands of her completely and just the act
of looking at her was enough to set her off! It was wild.
She wanted me to expain what was going but in all honesty I wasn't convinced
I knew. My head wanted to explain that it was some kind of CranioSacral
unwinding of fascial tension. I think it was also my head that wanted to tell
her something about Kundalini (especially because all of the movements came
from the spine) but I couldn't be sure enough about either enough to warrant
puting a lable on her experience. It felt cleaner somehow to just call it an
"experience". Although it would feel more professional if I could explain as
I appreciate that the mind has a nagging desire to understand phenomena like
this, especially when it relates to oneself. As to the benefit she gains from
the experience, I haven't a clue. It will be interesting to see how she has
been when I see her next Thursday.
All the way through the treatment she kept opening her eyes, laughing and
saying things like "Far out man. You have got some weird powers." I wanted to
surrender that one to Goddess but didn't know how. Did I need to do it out
load or would the silent intention have been enough without my client hearing
it?
Finally, what does anyone think of Deepak Chopra? Does anyone recommend his
books? If so, which one would be a good read?
Namaste, Charles
