It is the analytical mind that responds like this
Spiritual truths are beyond the analytical reason
So, you cannot try to use a tool that cannot admeasure spiritual truths

Why not? There was a man be name Jesus.
He was supremely compassionate and forgiving
He had the power to heal which no ordinary man has
These are plain facts. And, facts are enough to appeal to emotions

It is the interference and dominance of the analytical reason
that clouds your emotion perceiving facts

Why not? Quieten the analytical reason
In that enormity, there will arise pure reason.
Effectively couple spiritual discrimination with it
Then, the emotion seeing the facts will merge with that pure reason.
Then, there could be the descent of spirit
That descent will resolve the subconscious blockages
Then, there will be the ascent
You will then see for yourself who and what Jesus is

Forget what I have arrived at
It was just a sharing
I am not an authority
And, citing any authority will not help you
Because, the analytical reason is interfering
I have reconciled things for myself
