Thank you so much for the suggestion, Hillary and Percyval! I'm rather new
with the whole concept of focussing on an area with my mind and effecting
changes, but I'm working on it. I've also been working on the area with my
hands, and when I read Hillary's post, I tried working the heart chakra.
And it seemed as though the anxiety bubble -- which is what it feels like --
stretched/moved up a bit. It was still over my solar plexus, but the
intensity in that area decreased.
Right now, though, I have some respite from the anxiety -- my hormones are
working overtime this week (period), and it seems that dampens the anxiety
down to the point I hardly notice it for the most part, unless I have a
sudden thought that triggers it. Even then it goes away quickly. This is
the second month this has happened and although two doesn't really a sample
make, I'll take what I can get. Never thought I'd be happy to feel
hormonized, as I call it. *laughs*
I can still feel the K energy proper, as it were, although it's not quite as
loud. And my sense is that the energy is reaching higher, if that makes any
sense? My mid-back, in the area around my kidneys, has been feeling a bit
better lately, and now the area between my shoulder blades is giving me
grief. I can feel it moving freely, up and down, up and down ... but it
seems to 'stop' at my mid-back before heading back down. I feel it in my
head and a bit into my neck, although that energy is the swirly type, and
doesn't seem to have a direction, per se. So now I'll use your suggestion
... and focus on my throat chakra and see what happens with that.
*sighs* You know, I'm looking forward to the day when it just moves
smoothly up and down, all the way, and sort of in the background. When that
happens, I won't be so obsessed with it. And I'll be able to play the sax
then, too. *laughs*
