Dear Chris,

Well, it depends on how you interpret the phrase! Perhaps it's how one *reacts* to what life throws us that is important. Surely you know those who seem to have been given everything, who are perfectly miserable, and those who seem to have had one personal reversal after another who seem to go through life with an equanimity that can't be broken! If you dwell on your own, or others' despair, it will stay with you.

I take the statement "you will reap what you sow" as meaning you will experience life in whatever way you choose. You can see misery or beauty everywhere you look. It's really up to you.
