I too sometimes have a pain in the A that disturbs my sleeping.
When that happens, I put a small Elekiban magnet onto the spot
of the pain. Thus far it has always helped. I'm afraid Elekiban
therapy magnets are not sold in the US, but any small magnet,
with the north pole against your skin, should do.
