Subject: [K-list] Pain in the A

My tailbone has been really uncomfortable off and on for a few weeks now. I initially thought it was mechanical, because I think it may have started after a long day of sitting on a hard chair. The thing is, it's not so much pain as this really uncomfortable pressure that makes me want to push back against it with the surrounding muscles. I have found that if I lie down to "nap" and go into that in-between-awake-and-asleep hypnagogic state even briefly, I wake with the pain gone. I have wondered if the point of the pain is to get me to "nap." I don't meditate much, but I do have several hypnagogic experiences weekly, and it has seemed for a few years that this fatigue thing I have intentionally forces me to lie down and go into that incredible zone.
I have a tailbone history--severe bruising from a rollerskating fall 20 years ago, and again 8 years ago from giving birth. I have always thought I just have that INFJ personality type that may be "predisposed" to spiritual experience, but maybe I jarred my K loose with those experiences!
