I often felt that just "a small push" with the help of a master would be
sufficient to jump over.
[Bhavin Desai] However, a bit more background for context may be useful.
My teacher John More died in 1986 and my teacher Jack Boulton died in
1988 (both were in the UK at the time, but had been in India for various
periods beforehand.) I have physically met Swami Dev Murti Ji fairly
recently in December 2000 and December 2001 but only for a few days at a
time. His advice is usually brief, but very practical and useful.
Therefore, for about 15 years I have had no peers or teachers to discuss
Yoga. There are certainly Yoga teachers in the UK, as elsewhere in the
world, but I do not really get any satisfaction from what they offer.
There are many websites, but they cannot really replace a personal
approach, which can provide direction and control. I am interested in
other (non-Yoga) systems and do study them, but in the long term I
generally prefer to stay with the Kundalini Yoga of Swami Dev Murti Ji.
(In case people are not familiar with "Ji", it is an honorific postfix
that is similar to the "San" in Japanese and the "Mr" prefix in
English.)

authentic teacher/master to assist me in Kundalini Yoga.

master, not a full definition. There are other attributes. The
equivalent of a High Priestess/Mystress also exists in Yoga, but perhaps
is not as well known outside of India.
