I am curious about a LSD induced experience some 20 years ago that I only recently discovered parallels the kundalini experience. I was sitting in a room alone and felt a pressure on/in my head. I reached up and removed a forgotten multi-colored beaded headband I was wearing and held it out in from of me. At that moment, a warm tingling sensation filled my lower spine and I focused on it. The sensation began to slowly move upward, gathering warmth and speed. It reached a crescendo, 'exploding' out the top of my head in heat and color (gold), and an overwhelming sense of awe and compassion overcame me for delicious life changing hours. From that moment, I realized that there appeared to be a much deeper reality beyond that which I had come to accept. My studies since, in physics and life sciences has now led me back to that moment. If anyone has any insights, similar experiences, I would be very interested in hearing them.
