There are so many different semantics, contexts, and subtleties relating
to "love" that it is impossible to give a unified definition. Specific
cases would probably be easier.

Your reference to "God" above is also quite broad. Do you mean a
personified God, who may be associated (partially or completely) with
love, light, or energy? Or do you mean the Formless, Attributeless,
Timeless, One God who is beyond all Duality (including love and
not-love)?
