Subject: [K-list] The Lower Chakra Names
From: Bhavin Desai

Eki,
I offer my version for your evaluation:
Mula Adhara = Root Support (ie the base/foundation centre)
Svadhish Sthana = Sweet/Tasty Location (since it's near the
genitals)
Mani Pura = Jewel City
Note that I use the transliteration rules that are utilised in most
books (whether Indian or not) about Yoga and related subjects. I am not
familiar with the Harvard-Kyoto conventions, although the examples below
appear to very phonetic and descriptive. However, I tend to avoid
strange capital letters in the middle of words, so that there is a
better flow in reading.
I am also interested in the title "Shivling N. Kundalyog". Is it your
name, a given name, an acquired name, or a chosen name?
Bhavin.
