So you say that there are part of people's existence which they are
unwilling to accept. That is of course true, but it tells us nothing
about evil. You are attempting to reduce evil to some psychological
phenomenon, but evil should rather be recognized as one of the
fundamental forces of the world, that of chaos and disorder. For you
see, the very substance of the world, as such, is evil. Only when God
is introduced, do we observe goodness, order, beauty and harmony.
This very phenomenon can help people find God - just look for the
good things in the world. Since the world as such is evil, every
trace of goodness in it must come from God, and you can track it back
to its source. The closer you are to the source of all that is good,
the more goodness you observe and experience, until you come to the
point of realization that you, yourself, are an aspect of the Divine
Order, of God, and that your Self is an aspect of God, that you are
alive and aware because God touched the physical world and the
physical matter could thus say "I am this". This I am-ness is the
substance of God, of the goodness that saturates the world - if it is
obstructed, the chaotic nature of the physical world shows, and we
perceive evil.

So you see, evil indeed exists, but it is not of our true nature, it
is just one of the building blocks of the lowest aspects of the
Creation. We get to leave it behind us, and at one point, it will all
be a mere memory, where we will remember how we fought and defeated
it.
