[Bhavin Desai] I am perhaps thinking in terms of (for example)
http://www.elcollie.com/st/symptoms.html. However, that is neither a
complete nor mandatory list. The main characteristic of Kundalini
activity is the very wide variety of experiences.

[Bhavin Desai] Yes, I feel the same, especially in the areas of
extremely personal experiences that I cannot relate to easily. I am
primarily an intellectual (my graduate and postgraduate degrees are in
mathematics) and a lot of the emotional aspects of Kundalini/life are a
real mystery to me.

[Bhavin Desai] I also used to feel this way a few years back. What made
the analysis definitive was the confirmation from my teachers' teacher
(Swami Dev Murti Ji), and from several other knowledgeable people.
About two years ago, on explaining the Mudras and Kriyas to Swami Ji,
his response was simply "Kundalini". I have followed Yoga for over 30
years, with one full year living with Swami Ji, near Delhi, before
starting my career. I had expected a bit more explanation so I
described further aspects like the "piano fingers (aka counting
fingers)", expansive energy, trance states, shaking/trembling, etc.
Again, his only response was "Kundalini".
> I have experienced the Force of the One Supreme God

> And, She carries on and arranges my affairs as She Wills.

[Bhavin Desai] I have experienced an increasing number of
"synchronicities" in recent months. Some are so subtle that my mind
tries to find some logical justification, or at the very least some
statistical correlation.
> Even now, the word "Kundalini related symptoms or activities" keeps me

[Bhavin Desai] Again, http://www.elcollie.com/st/symptoms.html (and
similar sites) may provide more information. Also,
http://home.attbi.com/~anil123/experience.htm and surrounding pages,
briefly give an Indian view. (I have met Swami Shri Punit Acharya Ji at
a retreat where he gave Shaktipat.) The free book "KUNDALINI YOGA" by
Sri Swami Sivananda at
http://www.thedivinelifesociety.org/download/kundalini.htm is extremely
authoritative regarding all aspects of Kundalini.

[Bhavin Desai] (I assume "you" is the general reference, similar to
"one") This is quite normal behaviour. People always want to convince
others that they themselves are exclusively right and following the only
right way. The best response is with gentleness and patience. This
approach invariably works for me. There is room in the universe
(multi-verse perhaps?) for many views.
> But, if my experience is different, what can I do?
> So, I let it go. I unsubscribed from the earlier 2 lists.
[Bhavin Desai] I also unsubscribed from several lists due to over
commercialisation or poor quality posting. I think the K-list is the
most interesting and useful.
> Some well-wishers called me to subscribe to this new list.
> So, here I am back again.
[Bhavin Desai] That's good luck/karma for you. I found that the K-list
had disappeared from Yahoo (even though my Yahoo account claimed I was
still a member!!!) and it took a few months before I had the time to
search out and join the new one.
