Can you still feel the anger if the small I is not hogging the limelight? I thought anger was a function of the small I but maybe not. Shinzen Young ( meditation teacher) says that if you really pay close attention and experience anger fully, then anger is like energy waves coursing through your body and can actually be pleasant. But for me its about feeling slighted and protecting the small I.
