Hi Ken,
Sorry for not replying sooner, I have been caught up in the ways of the
world. Good ol' Mara, always doing his best to side-track me. 'Tis not good
for the spiritual life. Let's continue:

How amusing you are. (-: I understand how this can cause communicative
disconnect. Metaphorically, you may exist at "level 42" and I may exist at
"level 24". one day, we may even exist beyond level. - Misunderstanding will
always be the consequence if we don't meet at the same level. But I don't
need to tell you this. (-:
May I enquire, why "surrender" is repulsive to you? Imo, surrender is just
another word for renunciation. Isn't the spiritual life about that? i.e.
letting go of grasping , aversion, concepts, whatever... (btw, that =
renunciation) (-:
(snip)
> ...There's a Zen saying, "Open mouth, make a mistake". Yet words, albeit
imperfect, are necessary to convey meaning and point direction. Similarly,
God can't be known by trying to figure Him out or by trying conceptualize
Him, but in order to have any sort of discussion, we have to use words and
concepts.
Of course. That goes without "saying" (-: It's like trying to describe the
taste of a strawberry to someone that has never tasted one. Words will fail,
utterly! It has to be experienced to be known.

Ditto

> Was that a backhanded compliment? hahahaha
....or I can rephrase it as; " the way you think, is high on my list". If you
treat that as a compliment, then so be it. But I am not here to massage your
ego (-: And as you and I both know, the spiritual path is not about ego.
Agreed?

I guess I gotta do what I gotta do.... You have my attention now. My
attention comes to this List then goes from this List. How you engage me,
will make me stay. I need stimulation, but not in the "moist" or "creamy"
sense. (-:
Peacefulness returned,
Dean (but only in this lifetime) (-:
PS. I like you. - LIKE!...How dual! (-:
