Subject: [K-list] Sanskrit Nada and Spanish Nada
From: Bhavin Desai
On 2003/03/28 18:12, Bhavin Desai posted thus to the K-list:
For clarification, the Sanskrit Nada is pronounced "naad" (ie the second
"a" in Nada is practically silent) whereas the Spanish Nada is
pronounced "naadaa". I don't know of any relationship. The similarity
is apparently produced by the transliteration rules from Sanskrit to
English.
Nada Yoga ("naad yog") achieves Union via Music/Sound. Although I am
not musical and cannot dance, there are certain types of music
(especially classical Sanskrit Mantras, and recently Trance/Goa music)
which appear to trigger, activate and stimulate the Kundalini Shakti.
This results in several types of Mudras, Kriyas, and other
traditional/established symptoms of Kundalini arousal.

a relation?
