Hello
I went to an Advaita Vedanta Conference (inner directions gathering) this weekend in
La Jolla CA.

Basic gist: God is now. Being completely in the now is being in God. Now is not the
thoughts. To be in God one must say YES to the now. with whatever comes up... Makes
sense to me, since the only reality is now. It has been very interesting doing this.
I cant do it for very long but there are brief moments. Drop the fantasy of the
future and the past and be in the now. Completion will never happen in the future
though your mind would have you believe this and have you believe this and have you
believe this....
Try it out as an experiment.
Emotional pain from the past can block access to now. So when it comes up let it flow
through you and cry or rage or whatever you need to do. Blocking what comes up is
blocking God because God is what is happening now. Saying yes to now is saying yes to
God.
Eckhart Tolle: (And I paraphrase badly) our language is made up of 5 vowel sounds and
consonant sounds made by pushing air out of the mouth in different ways. It is insane
to think that this can describe reality.
Krishana Das was there. How wonderful. Listening to his music can get the Shakti
moving.
