This night is long as I sing my song, my tale of woe. Tortured soul. I
long to tell you.
Life is a gift. We treat it poorly. Expecting it to go our way. We kick
and scream and make demands. We think we know it all.
Oh, beloved. My words were angry, full of spite yet even so, the mirror
told,
Truth was bright tonight. God is kind, compassionate, too, reflected in
each other. We are not alone.
Oh, beloved. Where is the man who offered me his shoulder to cry on when I
was hurting so badly? Where is the man who came into my life bearing gifts
of all kinds? The man who gave because his heart was pure, loved because
his heart was tender? Where is that man?

Clearly could he see both sides of an issue. Eloquent was his argument. He
was committed to the path of Reason.
Oh, beloved. Wherefore art thou, beloved?
You sang to me, you played for me, you shared your joyous passion for life.
You took me to New York. I felt so proud. Priveleged, too. Oh, beloved.
My
heart cries out for you. Where have you gone? Why have you forsaken me?
Weren't we meant to be? I thought you cared. You flew away from me.
Please tell me you felt it, too.
You are my butterfly. I don't want to let you go but I can't make it so, it
will be what it will be. As your Truth unfolds you rise on gossamer wings
of shimmering gold. Soar, dear butterfly, soar.
All the colors of the rainbow are contained within a single drop of rain.
Universal harmonies are voiced in birdsong while the insect chorus repeats
the refrain. The lion's roar, a roll of thunder, the tympanic rhythm is
complete. I hear your call. The light of life springs up within. Please
guide me to the magic door. Oh my God, my Divine Beloved, you are the one I
seek.
