Dear OMA,

This is certainly a pleasant surprise. It's cool. I'm sorry I set you off,
but please understand that it was never my intent to turn this into
something personal. People have different beliefs and opinions, and in the
course of discussing various subjects these differences come to the fore.
Ideally, such discussions result in the participants all learning something
new, and arriving at a mutual understanding of the truth. However, some
beliefs are held so dear that any challenge to their veracity is often taken
as a direct personal attack. It's a psychological phenomenon. It triggers
a survival instinct. Sorry -- I apparently pushed one of those buttons.

Sounds similar to some K.-related anxiety attacks I used to have. I didn't
get the lumpy feeling up my spine, maybe some chills, a strange sensation in
roof of my mouth, and a feeling that my consciousness was going to expand
out of control.

These "attacks" stopped when my friend gave me a book titled "Be Here Now".
It wasn't the contents that did the trick (although it was an interesting
book), but just the idea of living in the present moment -- dealing with
whatever came along in the here and now.

It sounds a lot like some sort of K. reaction. You could check for some
bio-chemical cause. This is certainly something to investigate if
"alternative" methods don't pan-out, but be aware of the likely reaction the
standard medical professionals will have to the discussion of Kundalini.
I'd just stick to describing the symptoms if you chose the latter route.

Peace,

calm big ken
