The list has had some variety of a "faces" page since 1996, and usually
there are about 20 members who choose to add themselves. So, I know that
members want it, but I had not put it on my "things to do" list till now.

The business card cgi I am looking at appears to be pretty
customizable to turn it into a profiles option, and it allows one picture
to be uploaded. The default business card layout is damn ugly!

It seems to default to 12 input options. The sample list below has 15
options, so selections will have to be prioritized/merged.. unless I can
find out how to change that aspect of the defaults.

Those interested in horoscopes could figure them out from the birthdate.

Cool. Some have expressed the fear that having the members do the
reminding will create much bickering and hostility... so far, it has done
so, when the reminding has been posted to the list. Private reminders are
preferable. People who feel the reminder they received is not fair, can
forward it to the moderators.
