One Man alone, please dont get offended. I just the
some of the later posts and dont really know what
transpired but i would just like to say that GOD and
Jesus are definitely A legitimate Spiritual belief and
truly one of the most loving and fulfilling ways to
go thru life believing and growing. Evolution on the
other hand is a 'scientific' thing that man has
'unearthed' in his preoccupation with the material
existence and it is matter....feelable and tangible.
the bones the fossils etc etc...make the arguments
more 'true' and hence believable.
BUT no one till date has been able to 'prove' that
creationism or evolution is true. the fact remains
that the 'time' calculated by scoentists,,,the million
years taken to make a human etc etc.....in religious
texts are described as just hours or days....the
mystery that GOD did in fact "make" the universe the
animals the plants and THEN on the sixth day, MAN.
this thing could very well be the three million years
and just to show how time and space are
illusionary....
thus, eventually, both may be valid.
at 17, i really admire your interest and faith and the
spiritual commitment you have made. KUDOS. it is truly
magnificent as a 23 year old now once 17 with the same
"spiritual inclination" to see young youth digging for
the deeper meaning.
I wanted to talk about how i come from the eastern
belief in god systems and how they do in fact NOT
contradict the "western" christ belief (Israel is east
isnt it??)....but then, i dont want to as to me it
doesnt matter if you do in fact think the eastern
religions are invalid. I am truly happy that the
spiritual understanding is with you. I just want to
say to all that there is no need to integrate all
paths into yours. if you trust one or trust in the
other it does not make a difference.
No one in fact here wants you to go...it would be a
delightful experience to hear from you and on your
thoughts....young minds i think are always more to the
point and ramble lesser....the practical aspects to
any such group.
My deepest regards to the YOU in you and all the
respect you deserve as that devine spark that also
makes me.
