Dear Charles,
Thank you so much for bringing this up... I relate very well to what you
say.... In fact I jumped on this post.. Sorry.. You helped me to say
something that I wanted to for a while. Hey, isn't that what you did before
with the BDSM discussion!
My own experience of relationships with K has been very difficult.
Everything seemingly getting magnified to ridiculous proportions and the
other not being deal with the energy or closeness. Trying to keep K out of
the relationship is not easy for me as it tends to meld together with the
other and I, there stuff and my stuff. No boundaries. However, that said I
am getting more weary to this and not extending myself out to the other. But
makes for a pretty boring relationship.

Yes... In my experience people cling to their illusion. Scary to wake up
quickly. There are exceptions.
In my last relationship I was convinced that goddess brought us together but
the events were very rocky. One thing I regretted was sending energy into
her. I did it out of ego (only on one occasion) and thinking it would be
fun. It was a stupid thing as I violated myself and her. For the most part I
followed what my heart would say, which was mostly get rid of her but as
soon as I did it started saying get back with her... Crazy heart logic!

Is anyone really walking the same path? Being accepting to the others
differences maybe an alternative?

Would Goddess help you? I asked and received. In fact the girl I met was so
close to what I wrote down on my goals list it surprised me. However I
didn't consider what 'past' she might come with. Too superficial!

I enjoy the discussion on the list too... I'd love to have an open chat room
if there was enough interest so people could just drop in and chat as they
feel.

I wonder if we are drawn to not have a relationship (in the normal human
sense)... I don't like the prospect... I enjoy companionship, but it seems
like to get close to someone also means wading through their issues until
they are close enough to meet you with the same level of intimacy.
Many thanks for opening the door to talk about this.

Rich
