hi Charles,

like many of the partnered folks on the list, i am married to a woman who
respects my path, but has little interest in tantra, meditation or other
such activities... she is just very much into the more material aspects of
life... although we do share some of those interests in common...

there are times that i wish for a lover who shared the more spiritual side
of my life (especially sexual-tantra! *grin*)... but i do think that my
marriage was "arranged by God-dess" (a concept i first heard described by
Mystress when talking about her own relationship)... and my own surrender is
to find the perfection in this, and to appreciate the gift of the strong
love that my wife and i have for each other...

it seems to be a common pattern for many k-awakened folks to end up with a
partner who balances things out by being different... there are some folks
who are fortunate enough to share this side of life with their lover... but
it just seems to work out differently so much more often than pure chance
alone could account for...
