I'd second much of what has already been said! :))

Eastern and Western Saints understood for centuries that celibacy (as well as
flagellation, and other deprivations such as fasting) contributed to
Spiritual awaking, but today I suspect many of those who still advocate
celibacy don't really understand *why.* The reasons behind sexual
restrictions have been obscured down through the centuries, and the
justification for celibacy has today become so twisted that sexuality is
often seen today as somehow unclean.

Kundalini is, in a very real sense, sexual energy. In polling list members,
sexual abstinence was often a factor in K awakening--but falling in love and
an increase of sexual activity also factored in. :)) These are all
different manifestations of sexual energy. The confusion has resulted in the
seeming diametrically opposed views that you mentioned, such as between that
of Krishna and certain saints..

The middle way is one that is most comfortable for the majority. Fighting
your sexual urges might build up the sexual energy, but feeling guilty when
you can't succeed is counterproductive. :)) We are all sexual animals. If
we weren't we as a species would long since have died out.

You are young! The young want to experiment. This is both natural and
desirable!

Many people on this list advise surrender. If you stop trying quite so hard,
perhaps you will find that what you are looking for already is within you.
