Yes! Lesley, wonderful! And may I add this as an analogy...

Unconditional Love reciprocates not to the ego's desires. For Unconditional
Love shines like our own solar star giving its light freely to the Earth, It
shines upon all that is, good and bad, ego-love and ego-hate. And yet we
could not survive without the light, for without it, we would surely perish.
Although Earth life is dependent upon the Sun to sustain it, the Sun itself
remains "untouched" by Earth's life conditions. Earth has no symbiosis with
the Sun, for the Sun reciprocates not with Earth's conditions, it just gives
its light freely, and this is why True Love is "unconditioned" and thus,
unconditionally, it remains untouched, untainted, unadulterated and totally
Pure.
