My dentist self-destructed his practice with drugs. Wrote his own perscriptions. I took up an opportunity afterward to become personal friends with him. I wanted the
opportunity to understand why he would do such a thing
because he was an excellent dentist. I regretted losing his services.

Brilliant man. His father is a lawyer and I wondered if his following in a profession career was his own choice.

It took a coupla years for me to figure it out. It finally came out remarkably similar to what you wrote. Educational institutions were the only place he ever felt comfortable and at ease with himself. He now teaches chemistry at a
community college and parties with his students frequently.
