Dear Mystress Angelique -
For the record, and with respect - seriously - I am
looking at this post that you just sent - there are NO
unsubscribe instructions at the end of it. The list
has been changing and I am one who has always checked
it on the web before theset changes. Please cut me
some slack.
Also, for the record... I was not able to proceed with
helping with the links for two reasons: First, I no
longer have ANY internet access from my own home, so I
am limited to access from work or from the library,
where time is limited to 45 minutes per person per
day.
I have not had access for several weeks from home.
Additionally, for the record: Things have hit the fan
at work: we have been short-staffed for the past
month, and I am doing other people's projects and my
own are now behind schedule and slipping further.
There is no time for me at work to work on the links
and no access at home at all. Maybe I could just
conjure it up - or maybe a bit of patience could be
summoned, seeing as how I remember someone writing
that there was no hurry to do the links, it's an
never-ending task?
My decision to unsub had nothing to do with Felix at
all... It was in response to Hillary the moderator's
post, not his. Her post had 3 citations supporting her
position and then a demand to take it to some other
list. Either she should act as a moderator or act as a
member but not both. What kind of dialogue is that?
Let someone get their licks in and then stifle the
other person? The last thing I need is to join yet
another list.
The recent lack of snippage is from be being way over
stressed and forgetful and sick this week. I'm doing
it not just here, but on other lists as well.
And, for the record, it is very difficult to follow
the threads when people snip as completely as they are
doing... Absolutely impossible unless you stay right
on top of the conversations, which I am generally not
able to do.
But thank you for your kind character assessment.
love,
rita
Not snipping so you can see that there is no unsub
instruction on your message...
