You have been at war with your own internet addiction for a while, and
unsubscribing from the list is probably, exactly what you need to do, to
end that internal struggle/ conflict.
Why give responsibility to Felix?
Why give the responsibility for unsubscribing you, to someone else?
"Please unsubscribe me?" Heh. Please unsubscribe yourself. You know that
is how the list works.
I always wonder why people do that... ask to be unsubscribed, on the
list. Big drama game, don't they know how transparent it is? Wanting
someone else to take *their* time to unsub you, can only be an ego game
gesture. A power play, emotional manipulation, attention getting
behavior... childish.
I've been wondering at your recent lack of snippage, too. Not bothered,
just observing it. You know better than that but chose not to ...Your last
dozen or so posts were not snipped, except for this post, where you deleted
*everything* you are responding to, like stamping out the thoughts as if
they are cockroaches. I find it funny. Using the snip thing as passive
resistance, and then as aggression. How strange. If your snipping was
uniformly applied, then this post would not stand out like it does.
Did not wonder at your volunteering to edit the links and then offering
excuses instead of results. Seen that sort of thing before. It is about
appearance, ego... to appear to be helpful, without actually doing anything
but getting attention. Passive aggression. I see right through it.
You are not the first, to offer to "help" but then not actually help at
all, but only use the interaction of my explaining what is needed, as a
pretense to ask for my advice on unrelated matters, and get free
counselling. <shrug> No big, I don't mind it. "Life is too short" to get
stressed about that sort of thing. :)
I guess you'll miss the very nice retirement post I have been working
on... not ready to send it yet, still sorting out my thoughts, in
words. I'm retiring as a list moderator. That is why I did not remind you
to snip. :) The members voted for the guidelines, it is up to the members
to enforce them... which I am delighted to see they are doing, with this
thread. :) :) Yaaay!!
I'm done with moderating, my job is to host the list and website.
I'll share one paragraph with you, tho... :) I wrote it yesterday.

Courteous self service, here... unsubscribing yourself, is your
responsibility. The web page to unsub yourself is at the bottom of every
