Perhaps that is because you have a duality belief system? Felix

recollections of events by others centuries later, and made even more
unintelligible, for the most part, by a plethora of unending translations
from a multiplicity of dead languages, and redaction for any motivation or
ambition imaginable. This does, however, make it easy to interpret any of it
to any purpose desired, even your own, without contradiction by some final
authority, much less God.
Actually, it is not a question of how we interpret or translate the
canonical gospels, it is a question of how Shakti ( or as the Christians
say; Holy Spirit) reveals the true meaning of Christ's teachings to us.
Jesus
was an instrument of the truly sacred, the master (or as I prefer, the
servant) of the Holy
Spirit or the Highest manifestation of Shakti. Jesus' perception was "the"
non-dual perception teachings for mankind in his day. He even mentioned it
himself;: "Let thine eye be
single" is a wonderful example.

shame and guilt and protection. Why? Because we were given Free Will and
with our Free Will we "escaped from God." Our incredibly wonderful egos
protect us from God. The less-Kundalini-fied will never understand this
because they haven't experienced the I AM. Yes, I keep going back to that,
don't I? The ego can actually be observed, quantified and put in a
box...thrown away? I don't think so, but I'll definitely stick with the
observing factor. Yes, the ego is a demon of our own creation.
> I think we might continue to disagree on what the ego amounts to.
Presently, I'm thinking we brought it with us.
The ego-self is a quasi-entity. A stream of transient thoughts that
originates from its true nature,
However, the ego identifies itself with the true Self, but then
dis-identifies itself with the Self because it believes it is the Self,
and thus with self delusion born, it perverts that which is truly sacred.
>Either that or it happened when the Great Schism divided us all into
twoparts. That momentous event frustrated the hell outta concentrating on
finding a way outta here. ;-)
Yes! Another name for it would be a quintessential dichotomy of "our" mind's
fragmented thinking process,
or if yu wish, that which separates us from our true essence, from non-dual
awareness to duality awareness. Is it no wonder that human beings constantly
contradict themselves?
The little "I" is purely a reflection in "duality's" mirror.
Macrocosmically, the true Self is the "I" of "ALL". It's Nature is non-dual
and total Unity. IT does not identify Itself with the mirror, for it is the
Mirror and the Witness of the Mirror's reflection.
Forgive the interjection, I'll butt out now.
as always, with love--Dean.
