Repressed and stored energies compact like a bomb then explode.
Spiritual awakening explosions are different from ordinary anger outbursts
in that they are more like a nuclear or at best a fusion reaction.

They are common. Often a physical activity, especially outdoors in daylight
(to help circadian rhythms disrupted by shorter days) works to balance
the energy.
