I think one of the problems is that through the
centuries we gave Moses a persona of stone
cold austerity. You know, the gigantic, fearsome,
humorless breaded man with lightening bolts
striking all around him.

Something tells me he was probably a down-
to-earth, determined and intelligent, but mellow
sort of fellow.
