I am puzzled at your comparison. They are nothing at all alike. Are your masculine sensibilities offended by the mythology? Why?
I would say, it is more similar to how even suns are born and die, yet the space between them is immortal. The void is as it has always been, the same whether it is the space between molecules or stars... yet, without the space for creation to occur, there could be no creation. Yoni= sacred space.
