Exactly.. which is why one should never take the Bible out of context.
I am a Bible believer (of sorts) but not a chapter and verse Bible
thumper.. but more of a concept type person.

When people tell me they believe in the Bible.. I tell them .. So do I,
and I also believe in the dictionary.

In fact.. I have a Bible Dictionary.. printed in 1894.. Its really cool.. and I
believe in it too..
In defense of the Bible, however, I think that God in his infinate wisdom,
and ability would probably be pretty cabapable of preserving at least
enough of the truth in it to condemn us all. lol

Becuase.. actually the truth is all there is. That is what does "exist"
and all the lies, and rhetoric, and deception and confusion and
"un-adulterated" bullshit, and biggotry even .. have to be at least
structured around some shred of truth, in order to have a "purpose"
however miguided or perverse.

been trying to keep still on this subject... but i couldn't. :-)
