Welcome! :))
Yeah, that rushing/roar is one of the signposts of K. :)) I call it the freight train effect. It can overwhelm the body with ecstatic effect.
Affecting electronics of all sorts is extremely common with K active people. It is so common that Angelique has a spell to protect computers! :))

Memories surfacing, sometimes from "past lives" are also very common. It's not something I've personally experienced, but many others on the list have.

Good question. Apart from the list :)) I know two people personally who are awake.
One is the person who was partially responsible for my awakening; the other is an old friend who used to talk about his K experiences, but at that time I thought he was simply a bit irrational! LOL! We do know that Gopi Krishna couldn't seem to find anyone in India who had had a k experience and/or who could help him. This was in the late 30's. Since then thousands of people all over the world have been introduced to TM, Hatha Yoga, and other "eastern" disciplines--all of which to some extent are triggers to Kundalini. It's hard to know if it is just through the internet that people are now able to more easily connect, or if there really are more people becoming K active. One thing is certain, that in the past those experiencing K often had no "name" to put on the phenomena.
