Hi,
This is my first post to this list. I'm a 61 year old woman & have been
involved/interested in the area of psychic & energy for at least the last
20 or so years. What prompted me to seek out this list, however is my long
term friendship (30 years) with a woman who is definitely energetically
active. She is a hands on healer and did a few sessions with me to help me
bast some emotional blocks that have kept me from playing and singing as
well and freely as I'd like.
(I play finger style guitar and write songs. I used to be a database
programmer, but was laid off in June of last year and don't think I can go
back to it. Office politics can be really intense and unpleasant, not to
mention that I spent almost 40 years in front of a computer.)
After a few sessions I felt a kind of rushing, and heard a kind of roaring
noise as if a jet was going over, but it lasted quite a while and no one
else heard it. That was followed by a flood of clear memories from the
time I was a baby. Then all I wanted to do was hibernate, stay away from
the world and people for several weeks to try and integrate.
Now I'm meditating each morning, have gone back to t'ai chi and am trying
to figure out what I want to do with the rest of my life, and how I'm going
to find something that nourishes my soul and pays rent, buys food and
allows me to continue my lessons, which I love.
Now the questions - I've searched the archives as well as I can, and
couldn't find much on this, but have people had trouble with electronic
things such as watches, computers, maybe even software acting weirdly even
though they work fine for most people? My healer friend certainly has this
problem, and I think I know another person who does too.
Next question - do people feel that this phenomena is becoming more common
quite rapidly? Roughly how many people do you personally know that are
having similar experiences? And is it fairly recent, like within the last
few years?
