This is interesting to me because just a couple of weeks ago I had a dream that I was in an old car in a dingy alley with four "biker types." I was uncomfortable and eager to get out of the car. When I was finally able to, they touched me intimately in passing, snickering, as I climbed over them to get out.
I tend to have occasional dreams of levitation, and had one last night. Usually they are blissful; I am lifted a foot or so off the ground by some invisible force, or strong wind, and I feel compelled to try to relax and go with it. In the dream last night I was in a house in the desert that belonged to me, and I was nervous about going back in with my family because I knew "they" would start tormenting me. Some invisible demonic force that would lift me in the air without my permission, or step on my feet, or generally interfere with me. Once it lifted me way up almost to the top of the "cathedral" ceiling of the room I was in. This was way higher than I've gone in other dreams. In the dream I started praying to be surrounded by protection and help with stopping them from bothering me anymore; I wasn't too sure it was working. It felt like it took a lot of effort. I woke up and decided to read for a while, because I knew I'd keep dreaming that place and experience if I went right back to sleep, and I didn't want to!
I've been taking care of my sick husband and child and am fighting off the flu myself. I wonder if that influenced this dream?
