Acara: There are a lot of other weirdos here, Sherri.
 Can't say I comprehend why your sincere question
brought the flippant attitude. Many have seen the
energy around plants, animals and other people. This
is a remarkable experience for you. Each time a person
is blessed to awaken to the energy within and around
us is cause to rejoice in that sense of awe. I'm so
happy for you, that you are experiencing this. I think
you misunderstood some of the posts. This is a common
crossroads to some of the group, and perhaps they
forget when first they knelt there. However common
place this experience to others, it is cause of great
Wonder in you. As someone else mentioned, this was one
of the Insights in Redfield's book "Celestine
Prophecy." That books deals with awareness and how we
awaken our innate abilities. You might really enjoy
reading it. Also, could I suggest the next time this
occurs,( and do recreate the condition to make it
reoccur), that you gently close your eyes and "look"
at the tree through your third eye. weirdre not wierd;
you are embarking on the most marvelous journey.
Don't carry the baggage of self doubts and others
ideas; they only weight you down. Trust that your
intuition and connection to the Divine as your road
