Yes - and diminishing the pain is again one aspect of everything being
as it should be. If someone helps someone else, things are happening as
they should be happening, because there is no other way. The actions we
take are not seperate from the universe.

Sounds like the Krishnamurti guy regarded his healing as a pragmatic
thing, like voting or other equally trivial mundane activity. Not too
much spiritual significance attached to it, which is IMO a good thing.
However much you keep healing people, they will still die eventually.
Someone might be hit by a car 5 minutes after having their terminal
cancer miraculously healed by a witch doctor.
And death, disease, suffering, ... [list goes on] are not something we
should devote our lives fighting against, because such efforts have a
tendency to fail.
