Yet you refer to things like, "Ra vibration", "New Age", "channeling", and
this "100 monkey theory". Perhaps your study has been eclectic, but I don't
understand how you can mean this literally.

Helping others is admirable.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by "channel energy". K. energy has given
me some great insights, but I only use it in a passive manner.

The only problem I have with the 100th Monkey theory is the proposed
mechanism. The knowledge is passed through social interaction, not via
changes in DNA.

Well, I'm not sure what to make of this stream analogy. I find it useful to
stop the stream entirely, then everything becomes clear.

We've been discussing this sense of a higher vibration on this list for a
while now. I know I was drawn back to meditation after a hiatus of several
years, and many others have reported similar experiences. How this will
play-out in the short-term, I can't say. There are some New Age people who
make pretty wild claims that I find a bit hard to believe, but I try to
maintain an open mind. However, when they cross the line and make
statements that are verifiable as outright falsehoods, I feel compelled to
say something -- like:
"solar activity is increasing": No, it's following its normal 11 year cycle
and is decreasing from its high, which was in the year 2000.
"the Schumann Resonance frequency is increasing": No, the fundamental
frequency is the same as it's always been -- ~5.78 hz.
"we're evolving 12-strand DNA": You could see this under a microscope if it
were actually happening.
"Plant-X is returning in 2003": We'd be able to see it directly by now, or
infer its existence via perturbations in the orbits of the planets.
Anyway -- I'm going off on a tangent here, sorry :)

I don't begrudge these people their constant God intoxicated state. It's
just not my path I guess. The experiences of the transcendental Self I get
during meditation are enough for me right now.

Yes :)
